16/12
In Wuxi, we went to the San Guo Yan Yi the stage area. Its where they filmed the whole show of San Guo Yan Yi. Everything from start to toe was fake but cool. But the horses were like abused =.= We spent most of our day there taking a "real" ship used in the ran shao chi bi scene where cao cao led his navy army to attack chi bi. The tour guide said apparently there were 30 over ships but those were really burnt in the movie and thus, left only like 4-5 ships for tourist attraction.
Then we went to watch a small part of san guo yan yi where cao cao is fighting against guan yu and another 2 which i forgot the name. =.= Whole show lasted quite long and then it was back to shopping...
We went to this legendary bridge of china... Which is the 1st bridge in the past to ever function for cars and train over the "Chang jiang" Then it was history lesson again... the tour guide explains how USA and alot of country in the past all reject in helping china build a bridge to help them in trading from Nanjing to beijing across the chang jiang then how China people suffered in building the bridge.. blah blah blah. Its all written in the china textbook.
Lastly for the day in Wuxi, we went to visit the "Tea god". Basically is just look at tea sets and tea leafs.
17/12 "Wu zhen"
This place is really quiet and peaceful. Everything here is all old fashion-ed style where people live in kampong style like singapore back in the days. So quiet and peacful i almost wanted to stay there except for worrying about the weather conditions there. Haha. The Mai yang tang there is also their specialty and taste good too.
Nth much here.. Its the same as the previous days and so.
18/12 "Hang zhou"
I forgot what we did here... o.O if i remember correctly we went to a pearl production wholesale place and a jade production place also. Of course, they sold pearl items there such as pearl cream pearl powder pearl this pearl that. =.= Luckily my dad had my mom under control if not she would have bought everything there. =( My mom really is a spender of money god once she is outside of singapore. Everything also want to buy. Buy le then bring back home keep. =.= WtF man i tell u. My dad almost heartache seeing how much my mom bought, since he was the one paying!
And before we ended the day we went on a cruise! that sails along chang jiang. There we saw the oreintal pearl tower again and many other buildings. The wind was super strong and made everyone freezing like hell.
Ending in hangzhou, we stayed in this hotel which was okok except for the bathroom... You will know once you see. --->
Tadah.. Theres a window from the bedroom to the toilet! Like what the hell.. how are we suppose to bath when theres a window there. =.= In the end my brother went in and figured there was a curtain... Haha. okok. Still stylish i think.
19/12 and 20/12
We bus-ed back to Shanghai which was our original spot. The tour was suppose to end at afternoon 19/12 but both families, mine and the other one couldn't get any flight tickets back to sg so we had extra days to spend in shanghai. As expected, we shopped and so for most of the day in 19/12..
In 20/12 my parents took us to Shanghai's technological park which is a place for kids. =.= Are we kids? wth man. most of the people there are those small primary 1-3 kids and we still went ahead to explore the place like KIDS! o.O the tour in it ended unexpectedly fast and we were like "God damn.. no more place to go".... So we
ROT
at the hotel lobby.... waiting for dinner which is suppose to be the best dinner ever in the whole 8 days. Apparently my family wanted to spend away all our spare cash so we went to a 1st grade restaurant. =.= Everything there was good. There was a sofa to relax. TV to watch. food was absolutly good. Service is like... I want to drink tea but they dun allow me to even touch the teapot to refill my tea. Must they pour for me. =.= Overall it cost around 400-500 ren ming bi which was 80-100 dollars in sg. Cheap i could say. =)
Flew back home in 21/12 which was a midnight flight at 0030 and reached home at 6am. Tadah.... That concludes my trip to shanghai.. Will post the pictures when i have the time. RIght now its going to rain.
