Yep! A Team. Watched it on the day it came out. Which is TODAY! =) Army was... boring but the army in this movie was fun. Well.. lets say the type of army i experience in MINDEF was more of a political army. You know.. like. OH YOU HAVE TO GET THIS PAPER DONE AND SUBMITTED BEFORE THE ENEMY FINDS A REASON TO KILL YOU! or like LETS SIT HERE AND THINK OF HOW TO KILL THE ENEMY. WITH PEN AND PAPER!Yep... Its really like a political system, taking into consideration how multi leveled marketing is like the main point here.
1) The super big boss wants something done. He asks the Branch heads to get it done. He wants it by, eg, 1 month's time.
2) The branch heads probably has something "important" to handle, and thus instructs his subordinate, the head of sections, to get it done for like... 3 weeks.
3) Considering if hes a Section head, he probably has meetings to attend to and personal stuff he wants to do... Therefore the throws the work to EAs (Executive administrators), which is like.... civilian officers, except that they are lower in rank considerations.
Now, if you are an EA in MINDEF, it probably means you will do MOST of the stuff. Yes. And usually the deadline is like, 2 weeks? which is half of whats given. So most of the time, the EA cannot finish what done and throws them to... NSFs! Thats me. At the lowest level, i get to do the work at 1 week deadline. Plus, considering how the work is being passed down, i probably would only get 3-4 days before i need to clear it with my boss and then send to the branch head to clear before she gives it to the big boss to sign.
Ugh.. Training for Standard Charted resumes today! at 630am!! Ahh.. This time i got smarter. I brought along my music phone which has a SIM CARD! and i brought along cash, my ezlink card and just to make sure, i will have breakfast. So i don't get hungry!!
