Tuesday 8/9/09

Our flight was morning so actually i woke up early to catch the plane and stuff... My mom was nagging like mad again blah blah.. -.- Finally after we left the house we had peace and quiet. The trip consist of Me of cos... My sister and her bf, Wen wei.. Anw we cabbed to Changi and checked in.. Was quite fast and we went to have our second breakfast there... My sis and i were actually playing with the airport sanitizer there... Alcohol based sanitizer which feels like.... Gel? anw we used up alot of sanitizers stationed all over the airport. Board the plane around 7am and flew to Sabah reaching around 9+am.

There we cabbed to the Centrepoint which was actually the biggest shopping centre?!? As so the cab driver says.... So we had time to burn before we check in to our hotel, spent quite awhile walking around. Been to the handicraft market there and also the night market to look around but nothing much was bought in the 1st day though. We had KFC for lunch cos there weren't any proper coffee shop or kopitiam in Sabah... -.- The KFC there really is hard to order. Me and my sis had super hard time there.. When it was our turn to order, the conversation went on like this....

Us: Can we have 1 set zinger meal and 2 piece chicken?
Service crew: HuH?
Us: Err.. the zinger meal? and 2 piece chicken. crispy one.
Service crew: You want zinger + 2 combo chicken meal?
Us: Nonono.. Zinger + 2 piece chicken meal.

The crap goes on until the manager came down.. Haha..I dun quite remember most of it but it was actually hard to talk to them without malay... -.- Maybe i should start learning malay now. Or after my A lvl ba..

After that we cabbed to our hotel which was actually quite a good hotel, Novotel. The place was nice with a shopping centre beside it. Spend quite a long time unpacking our stuff and then rest at the hotel till around 3pm then we went to the shopping centre and look around. Amazingly the shopping centre was like empty? Many shops open but i only see Chinese shoppers and stuff.. Few of them are actually malay. The rest were tourist like us too.. Angmohs.. The place was actually quite big and we got alittle lost walking all over. Night came and we had to cab to the fisherman village for our dinner..

The whole trip we had to depend on taxi.... But actually their taxi fare is quite cheap. They don't count by meter like we do... so calculative de.. they charge by average... like how long it takes to go to someplace and how far it is.. Luckily we had this great guy which was like our tour taxi driver, takes us anywhere de. Went to the fisherman village and had our dinner... The waiting time was super long and we only ordered 3 dishes. Anyway, they had a performance there and stuff and was quite interesting. ate up and cabbed back to hotel again to rest for the day. Phew. Then me and wenwei went drinking.. Absolut Apeach.. Peach flavour vodka.. around 40% alcohol ba.. Can be used as sanitizer already. Haha.. We drank around half the bottle which cost us 70 ringet, around 30-40+ sing dollar. And then wen wei was drunk and slept 1st.. i also buei tahan liao and lie on my bed.. Then around midnight...

Wen wei vomits.. -.- Walao eh. My sis and i had to clean up for him till around 2am in the morning... Luckily the bed sheet and the bed only had a few stains. Only his shirt got hit and stuff. He vomitted so much he actually slept in the toilet while vomitting.. -.- Haha. So.. next day already.

Wednesday 9/9/09

Damn this day past by so quite and i thought 9/9/09 was going to be tomorrow. Again, woke up around 730 and had our breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The plan was to go to Bourneo kellybays. Which was like some ulu ulu place. The road there was 1 way road. As mentioned in the name, kellybays, meaning we had to take a ship up to the place. This place was really deserted. The only customer they had were actually 4 groups of tourist. Mainly, us, 3 korean tourists, 3 chinese tourist and 2 other which i dun really know where they are from. Anyway, the place is something like a activity place. We could spend time painting a picture, go to the beach and rest, go surfing, take the banana boat, throw darts or even shoot darts with the blowpipe. Lunch was even provided there and there was afternoon tea too..

Somewhat like a beach resort.. except this place really is isolated. The place was quite country side like with dogs and roosters all over.. Wierd place.. Anyway the banana boat thing was really fun... Though i spend half of the time falling into the sea, drinking gulps of salt water... ZzZ.. The overall was quite fun... speed around in a banana boat. Lol.

After that we actually went surfing.. But, the surfboard we get are quite primitive.. It looks really like a surfboard on one side but the other looks quite... -.- Anw we went out to the sea and tried to surf. None of us were actually experience surfers so we just like lie on the board and let the waves take us to shore... -.- We were actually dragged by the waves quite a distance from the beach that we started off at first and ended up walking back to the beach place cos we just couldn't surf.. Then.... we cleaned ourselves and prepared for lunch which was amazingly quite nice. Their salad used really seashells as a plate. The shell was quite big like bigger than my GC.. -.- They had so many dishes overall like chicken, curry, roti prata (Biscuit size), lamp chop, sotong, fish, soup and some others.. We had a hard time finishing and in the end we wasted quite abit of the food.. Wen wei was still suffering the side effects of getting drunk yesterday and didn't ate much so the burdern was upon me and my sis.. -.- Ate up and before long we had tea... then we rest awhile and departed from the place at around 4pm..quite a day spent there. Cabbed back to the hotel as usual and went to the hotel's swimming pool to relax. Apparently their pool is not filled with warm water but actually really cold water. Plus, the sun was covered by clouds and stuff which made the weather even cooler. Swam for quite awhile before we went back to our room to rest again. Tiring day.. Went to the International buffet thingy at the hotel for dinner and again, shopped at the shopping centre beside the hotel.

Quite fast the day went by and then before long it was...

Thursday 10/9/09

Damn. the time went by really fast. Morning was as usual, wash up and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. Then we packed our stuff and prepared to go to the airport... But before our departure we actually went to the City centre to shop again. This time we were spending like hell. Cos we had quite alot of ringet left from all those saving here and saving there. We bought many things, bought sarong, bought socks, shoes, even bought boxers.. -.- I bought some other stuff like the zippo lighter.. -.-we bought some snacks and stuff too.... Then my sis went to buy 3 pairs of shoes.. -.- So women really do know how to spend money....

Time was up and we cabbed to the airport at 12pm. Board the plane, flew to singapore. Home sweet home and we went to T2 to have our lunch. Sakae sushi buffet! -.- Omg.. was quite full...

I must say after experiencing how Sabah people provide cab services, i feel that Singaporeans are really too calculative le.. We even got tricked by Singaporeans on this day.. We actually wanted to send Wenwei home after we reach ours but the cab driver was sooo.... fucked up. He drove to CCK which was actually near wenwei's house and then to our house.. Apparently we told him to go to ours 1st.. In the end the fare costed about $30++ at our home.. We told wenwei to stay at our house 1st then go back in the evening.. -.- Damn Singaporeans... Wait.. i'm one too.. Haha..

Anw i will try upload the photos if i can.. Very troublesome la... Phew... never wrote so much in this year before.. Haha
